What are the privacy rules for writing a memoir?
Is there a standard form required? As in…do I need permission to write about my own life?
I ask because I’ve got some real horrid things to disclose, and I prefer not to be sued.

There are no rules for writing your memoir. So go ahead and write it. It takes time to develop the story-sometimes years. Writing has a way of revealing lot of things about ourselves and others. When and if you decide to publish it, you can cross that bridge when you got to that point.

Thank you! I agree, I may write the memoir to sort out my emotional baggage.
